I started learning my presentation skills in the local youth club when I used help the DJ there on club nights. I later entered a competition with a number of youth club DJ's but failed due to me playing the likes of Sparks and Bad company which did not go down to well with the locals, perhaps this was a sign of things to come.
I became a mobile DJ, first in partnership with two other DJ's, working for various entertainment agencies. As soon as I could afford my own equipment I went solo, and this lasted for about twenty five years. From there I joined the children's charity/playgroup Radio Lollipop who had a small radio studio in the basement of Southampton Hospital, where children could paint and join in, playing requests and presenting programmes.
Following that I joined Southampton Hospital Radio and after spending a year or two with them I moved on to community radio and joined Skyline Gold 102.5fm where I have presented Drivetime and late night rock shows, and I also present a programme on Saturday lunchtimes
My real love is rock music, especially classic rock, so I joined The Flash and I love it . I'm proud to be a member of such a great team and I am looking forward to a very long and happy relationship with a great radio station.
