The whole Flash volunteer team would like to send you all our Love at this difficult time. Unfortunately only a handful of our presenters are able to produce fresh programmes for you at this time, although we are doing all we can to bring you as many live shows as possible.
All live shows (and some fresh recorded ones) are now being produced from each presenter’s home to maintain the ‘Stay At Home’ policy. Please bear with us as some gaffs are likely at times, and internet problems may cause off air periods as internet usage grows across the country.
We are working with Community First to bring you information and updates on the community support available in the Borough Of Havant and beyond, and we will also bring you regular updates from Havant Borough Council. Please spread the word about The Flash, especially to those who are isolated and may not use the internet or social media.

Of course these past 3 months have been a difficult time for us all, and we are all very much looking forward to being able to enjoy a pint in our local pubs once again. It has been a hard time for publicans, bar staff, breweries, DJ’s and live music artists, but we cannot expect business as usual for a while yet.
I myself look forward to supporting the local public houses that have supported me in paid work for many years, but we will need to be patient with these premises and be ready for a very different pub experience. Tonight (Thursday 2nd July) at 11.30pm I will be joined by Lauren and Martin of The Woodman Pub in London Road, Waterlooville. They will be telling us what it’s been like living at a public house during the lockdown, and the hurdles they have come up against in preparing to re-open.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Jacqui Benham, Community Champion at Asda Waterlooville for visiting today and presenting us with a cheque for £300.00 as top up funding following our Flashfest back in July.
Jacqui also came on air for a chat after the presentation pic was taken.
Thank you again Jacqui and The Asda Foundation. This money will go towards the running costs of our not for profit community radio station; The Flash – Where Real Music LIVEs.
