Richie’s love of music has led him not only to the airwaves but also to playing in many different bands over the years. He loves to be the frontman but can also be found behind a set of drums and has performed all over the country in tribute and original bands.
He studied Media at Highbury College and went on to co-host various local radio shows on The Quay and The Saint, and happily spent three years interviewing acts backstage at the Isle of Wight festival.
More recently Richie has spent time in the studio co-presenting two podcasts (SDFF Presents… and Review To A Kill) as well as recording the debut album with his band Le Chiffre.
He has also branched out to writing and has had two plays published which have been performed internationally.
As a fan of all shades of rock, from Led Zeppelin to Pearl Jam with a bit of Journey thrown in, he is delighted to be able to share his eclectic taste of music on The Flash.
