Graham and Jacko present Full Throttle, a fast-paced heavy, punk, rock and roll show every Wednesday from 7.00 – 9.00pm.
Jacko hails from Portsmouth and Graham was born and bred in Leigh Park, a stones throw away from The Flash studio.
Growing up, Jacko was always into rock music but it was punk rock which really lit his fuse. Jacko is also the frontman for local punk rock giants, Acid Attack.
Meanwhile, Graham had three older brothers whose record collections influenced his musical direction in varied ways, but he has always naturally gravitated towards the heavy side of rock.
Their paths met whilst working in the glamourous world of double glazing where, across the plastic trims and sealed window units, they realised they had a mutual interest in punk and heavy rock. Over the many years of friendship, they have been to countless gigs, some good, some not so good.
In 2023, Colin Thomas, a fellow Flash presenter, suggested that Graham and Jacko would be a fine double act to front a show on The Flash. He was wrong, but somehow they are still going strong!
In their Full Throttle show, they regularly play 30 songs per show in a rapid-paced format. The type of music featured is gathered from vintage rock and roll, rockabilly, 60s garage, glam rock, punk rock, pub rock, NWOBHM and classic rock through the years.
