Richard presents a selection of bangers and deep cuts from the 60s to the present day on his Richard Connell On The Radio Show at 2.00pm every Saturday.

Richard was born in Manchester and is an engineering manager. He thinks his first ever record was an Adam Ant single, but he can’t be completely sure! His favourite era is the sensational 70s, and David Bowie in particular.
The best gig he’s been to was quite recent when he saw Fontaines DC at Alexandra Palace in London, a venue the band has played at multiple times.
Richard lives in Waterlooville now with his wife and three children, two of which are now at University. His son Owen also presents on The Flash Radio.
Richard’s hobbies are playing football and the guitar (but not at the same time!)
